Olympic update:
We should know in November if skateboarding and park or vert BMX will be  
added to the 2012 games.
BMX is already an Olympic sport for downhill racing.
The TRE X Games in Busan Korea was the first time that BXM and skating were  
sanctioned by the IOC and the president of the IOC was there in person to 
watch  the BMX and skting.
It looks like BMX will be governed by the ICU and skateboarding will fall  
under the roller skating federation.
Gary Ream and Mike Jacki have been working hard on getting everyone  
organized and ready to go and if the opportunity arises everyone will be  ready to go.

American athletes did very well. I really enjoyed the event - met wonderful  
young athletes from all over the world and then spent a week in Korea with the 
 locals. I will be in Hong Kong next month.
It is nice to travel and see that in other countries they include their BMX  
riders and inline skaters in the parks and activities. They also do NOT ticket 
 skaters or BMX riders in parks or on the streets.
