Hi
We had an Anytime BMX contest at our ramp in Venice on  Sunday. It was so 
much fun - tons of bikers showed up and then a group of about  50 cyclists 
stopped by to watch and eat.
Hansens Soda crashed the event , put up a tent and offered  free sodas to 
everyone (probably 200)!
 Ride BMX was, once again, our major sponsor! many  thanks to everyone at 
Ride - they probably forgot they sent me a huge box of  product a while back 
which I was hoarding for this event. We combined a Jam with  a real contest. As 
usual the BMX riders were fun and easy to work with.Many  thanks to DJ Treefrog 
and the band  Vapour If you haven't held a BMX event but would like to  
contact me.

Ride Hard Games in Inglewood ca. has been put on hold  waiting for new city 
budget Oct1.
 
If your park is unstaffed and includes all riders please make sure to apply  
to the Tony hawk Foundation for grants. They just received 2.3 million for 
inner  city / urban parks.
