When we started SPAUSA insurance for a park started
at $60,000 a year. SPAUSA members have not had any claims and
we have worked hard to bring the rates down.
Public
Parks
Most joint
pools will insure an unstaffed park at no extra fee to the city.
Unstaffed for the same reason a public beach carries less liability
than a staffed rec and parks swimming program. If your insurance
pool will not cover the park we have staffed and unstaffed coverage
available through AAA rated companies.
Private
Parks
Insurance
for a private park starts as low as $850 a year for non profits.
The average park is under $2000 a year but a very large park with
retail, food and beverage could run as high as $12,000 a year.
