About Us

SPA is a pro active non profit organization that helps communities get skateparks. We are celebrating 10 year Anniversary all of 2006. SPA has over 10,000 members and they include skateparks, cities, skateboarders, bmx riders, inline skaters and industry partners. We attend trade shows, write for newspapers and magazines, speak at conventions, work on industry standards, risk management, insurance, hold contests and do demos. SPA has an amazing Demo team. They can demo anywhere, anyplace, anytime, whether you have a park, a parking lot or a sidewalk. We partner with BAKER Skateboards for their Christmas Jams and our events are currently sponsored by 411 video, ADD Marketing, Punkrock Skateboards, Fun House Presents, Swinghouse Recording Studios, Dogtown, Z Sports, Grindking, Mardrid Skateboards, SKILLZ & Etnies BMX.

SPA headquarters is located at 2210 Lincoln Blvd., Venice CA 90291. We have a big mini ramp see www.teamgoon.com Venice Old School Jam or www.sk8session.com Skatie Hawkins Ramp hours are 9 am till dusk and it is free. No drugs, alcohol or tobacco.
